Good video.From an american perspective castles might look romantic but to us irish they bring mixed feelings and nobody should feel any obligation to stay in them nobody will feel slighted .They are a part of history,but the history surrounding them is not pleasant even that castle was stolen from its original owners because they were of the wrong christian denomination.To sum up no not staying in a castle does not mean you can not say you were in ireland,tourists are more than welcome to do so but its not an obligation by any means.
