An Honest Day In The Life of a Travel Family (with 7 kids!)
Sometimes when you’re traveling with kids, things don’t go according to plan… but that’s the beauty in family travel! Whether you are a small family, or a large travel family like ours, travel days come in all shapes and sizes, highs and lows, good and bad. And we’ve learned to take them all in stride, and even value the bad days, the days where everything seems to have gone wrong. Because, more often than not, those are the days where memories are made, and your family bond grows strongest!
Today we’re taking you along for a day full of ruined plans here in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Each step of our sightseeing plans were re-routed or didn’t work out for one reason or another. But still, in the end, although we didn’t do what we planned to, we have a full day of memories made together.

My first thought is if you do manage to be on the beach at the right time and able to walk over to the little Island, how long until you would have to come back? The kites in the sky looked awesome, but not the traffic you were trying to weave your way through to cross the road! As the video now has you in South Vietnam where there are more tourists, are the food prices much higher there? Michael was saying how much tomato sauce was for example. 🍅 The restaurant at the top looked great, spacious with furniture and the views awesome even though it was night time! And at the end of the video, Michael was showing us his goofy side…better cut back on those drinks Michael! 🤣 Another great video as usual, and looking forward to the next. ✅
Hi Boyd Family ,I just hyped this video to 750 points , don't you guys wish that you could turn back time when all your kids were still little ! 🥹❤
Hello there Boyd family, I don't think that so many of us have it truly "figured out" when traveling. There's no such thing as a stress free trip, to my knowledge. With all the planning in the world, unforeseen circumstances can and do arise (sometimes). When you least expect it. With all the videos you've done on your channel shows that the unexpected can happen. Just keep doing what you've been doing all along, Boyd family. It seems to be working for your family, and yes that means you you all get to spend so much quality time together, that the wonderful part of the journey,
Martie W from Florida ❤️
When you film attractions or events, it's good to also record your familly's reactions. As a viewer, i can really feel those moments.
Looks like you guys are winning everyday to me! Great videos, I enjoy them every week.
I'm in the middle of watching 'The Third Day', a horror series on HBO Max where the evil things happen on an island that is only accessible across a causeway during low tide. Just saying 😃 Have fun!
Prepare for Lunar new year. Everything closed for 2- 3 days

Definitely gorgeous view from the rooftop.😊
Loving your positive outlook in life!
My daughter and I make a point to eat at a McDonalds everywhere we travel, just to compare. Their cultures add different items to their menus, like ordering a beer at McDonalds in Germany, McFalafel in Israel, spam in Hawaii, etc. I don't eat at McDonalds at home. Too many amazing burger joints in Austin area, including gluten free 😉
Just Being Together Is A Perfect Day 😊 This Was A Great Video Guys Thank U for Sharing this Amazing Journey n Adventures With Me ❤❤God Bless Ya'll Always 🙏 ❤️

I brought my fam out for Chinese New Yr (In Thailand) and it was a bit of a fail lol. I learned, in hot climates -don’t aim for the end of the parade route lol. We caught a grab to a 7-11 near the parade and got cold drinks then walked in and waited 30mins patiently near the end of the parade route (bc i thought there might be a celebration and food vendors afterwards), unfortunately not this time. By the time the parade got to us the dragon had dispersed bc the ppl must have been much too hot in the suits lol, and people were done performing and many were leaving. The parade was done quickly + my family was not too impressed lol🤪…but wasn’t a total fail bc we got exercise and saw firecrackers and experienced something new…and went for a yummy dinner after.
Happy New Year! Hope your family have nice trips in Vietnam.
So disappointed… in those breakdancers at the park. They’ve got nothing on us people from the 80s!
Glad your family enjoy Vietnam. Beautiful country. Born there but am your fellow Canadian.
It’s so beautiful to see how loving and caring you are as parents. May your family continue to be blessed and may good health accompany you on your journey through life.❤
