I Was AMAZED by Phantasialand! Taron, Black Mamba, FLY & More!

🎥 Phantasialand Trip Review | Taron, Black Mamba, Hotel Matamba & Best Bratwurst in Germany! 🌍🎢

Join me, Theme Park Steve-O, on a cinematic, fun-filled family journey through Phantasialand in Germany! From riding Taron — the best ride in the park — to spotting the oldest man we’ve EVER seen loving a rollercoaster, this 4-day trip was a wild ride from start to finish.

🏨 We stayed at Hotel Matamba, a fantastically themed hotel where we could watch Black Mamba from our balcony — pure magic after a day exploring the park!
🌭 The food was a highlight too — we tasted the “Best Bratwurst in Germany” in the Berlin area and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the hotel.

🔥 Rookburgh stole the show with its cinematic atmosphere and rides, while Klugheim kept us on the edge of our seats.
🎢 Taron lived up to its reputation and Black Mamba was a close favourite — but F.L.Y. left us a little underwhelmed.

Whether you’re planning a trip with your family or you’re a hardcore coaster enthusiast, this video is packed with tips, reviews, and pure Phantasialand magic.

    1. German here 🙋‍♀ The pronunciation of RAIK you absolutely nailed. Love the story of you getting the girl on TARON to overcome her fear – on my second time on F.L.Y. I got seated with an Australian lady who was super scared and sobbed, I calmed her down and helped her figuring out the restraints. Afterwards she was still sobbing but those turned into happy tears. Can't wait for my next stay at my favourite theme park and glad to see how much you enjoyed it there! 🙌

    2. I wouldn't expect there to be any expansion in the Moon Lake area. It is right up to the surrounding housing and Phantasialand is in a long disagreement with some of their very litigious neighbours. The use of water on the Wakobato boat ride has been deemed to be too noisy by court and has been discontinued because of this. Other things Phantasialand had in that area had similar fates.
Unfortunately any expansion projects are blocked, as there is hardly any support for Phantasialand from local politics.

    3. The cycle length on Mystery Castle is not really relevant: On of the cycles goes straight up all the way at the beginning, the other does that after an up and down. That adds a few seconds, but I prefer being shot up immediately (it just feels more intense to me). Since the amount of air is limited (due to its storage device), cycles can‘t really be longer. I love it just the way it is. Also: You didn‘t miss anything with that Mad House in China Town.
When it comes to F.L.Y. You have to understand that it‘s not supposed to be a thrill ride. The coaster wants to deliver a smooth flight through Rookburgh with near misses, airtime and some positive Gs in the helixes. From my pov it does exactly that, perfectly. Just don‘t put any weight on your legs (lean fully into the vest) and look down (to avoid blocked blood flow in your neck). That‘s the best way to fully enjoy the ride.

    4. Thank you very much for your pictures and impressions from Phantasialand. If you want to experience the park in a very special atmosphere, then visit it during the Wintertraum.

    5. German here, not rrrr- ssss. Fantassia-Land ^^ And 2nd: not Länd. The a is not an ä. just Land. And it is not Täron, just Taaroonn. Pronounce the a deeper.^^ Geister Rikscha ist not well maintained. Sadly. Last time i visited the park, me and the son of my girlfriend counted the areas where water from the roof was going threw xD I guess they dont have a good plan what to do with that area.

Edit: Whats that Video, here you can hear Taron the way it should 😀

    6. German here, Geister Rikscha has no story. You ride past scenes based on chinese mythology. The first scene, for example, is Yama, judge of the Underworld. The next creatures are supposed to be Psychopomps, leading you into the Underworld, the following scenes I'm not sure about. Then the Ghost Ship scene is based on another legend I can't quite recall. something about a god of storms making sailing almost impossible and this vessel got stuck in that mess. The treasure hunter scene, I heard the character flying above them is the spirit of greed or something. And finally the three headed figures judges spirits if they're worthy of being reincarnated or not. And then the rest happens.
