    1. Keep in mind there is a difference between food poisoning and stomach flu, if yiu have food poisoning its important to seek medical attention, stomach flu your probably going to be puking and sh!tting liquid for 2 or 3 days

    2. I tend to disagree with your comment about food in hotels. Safe and clean food is a strong cultural thing and the vast majority of Thai people do not try to cheat with that.
In over 30 years, I never had food poisoning, and I have eaten every where.

Regarding the amount of chili, I have always considered it is a stupid challenge to try to eat more spicy tan what you can. It does not make you stronger, or manlier if you can eat 2 spoons of dry chili instead of one. It kills your taste buds, so you don't enjoy food anymore. t may be a thing when you are 12, but you are supposed to grow out of it. πŸ™‚

Drink lukewarm or hot beverages to stay hydrated. With cold or iced drinks, you start sweating immediately and it increases the feeling of being too hot. No wonder than in North Africa, people drink hot mint tea.

    3. my biggest mistake was rinsing my mouth after brushing with tap water….
id use bottled water religiously but always forgot that last bit.

    4. I,ve lived in Thailand 18 years and very rarely eat β€œFalang” food, dined at street stalls up to 5* restaurants and never had stomach problems.

    5. best to go in supermarkets and eat from the food areas there
they will be clean and no problems because the supermarkets arent going to allow dodgy food on their premises refrigerators, and clean facilities..theres alway lots of thai people also eating

    6. Been to thailand a dozen times every time got the bubble gut rats roaches unsanitary dishes employees not washing hands the street food places have 2 buckets 1 for washing one for rinsing the water is never changed remember what they didn't sell today will be for sale tomorrow watch yourselves make sure travel with some prescription strength stomach medicine very very hard to find clean quality food despite the hype there are some pizza places that are good and found a good Mexican place but please remember there is no protection or food safety
