    1. Would you ever move to Cambodia or live abroad? 🌏

I left the USA and moved to Cambodia for a completely different lifestyle — lower cost of living, less stress, and more freedom.

👉 What’s the #1 thing that would stop you from making a move like this?
Living in Cambodia | Cambodia Cost of living | Expat life Southeast Asia

    2. I have very similar views on my home country, Australia, I saw the last of the best years of living in Australia, in the late 70s into the mid 80s , a free country then , now successive governments have destroyed what it was then , I’m angry at the stupidity of the average Australian that allowed this to happen, I now live Cambodia,

    3. I love Cambodia but as a professional cameraman please keep your horizons straight….its making it hard for me to watch. 😂 also I would like to add that if you are into dirt bikes it’s a fantastic place to ride. No rules. Can rent proper enduro bikes. I know it’s not your thing but it’s one of the reasons I love being here and worth a mention to fellow dirt bike riders thinking of moving or visiting.

    4. Spot on with everything you say Mike. Eight years and nine trips to Siem Reap later I love the place and the people. I've just returned from my ninth trip and planning my tenth trip in October. You never know you may even meet some vloggers haha

    5. Lol, I moved to Cambodia because no other country would have me! But that's not really a negative reason. I normally live and teach in Myanmar – doing this since 2012. But if I'm not employed by a school or other employer, I can't get the long-term business visa to stay there. Now I've just retired from in-class teaching and only doing educational charity work, so no business visa is available. So I have to base myself in a neighbouring country. Thailand is an option, but you need to drop $25,000 USD into a Thai bank account to get the annual retirement visa. Also, my 2 ex-wives live in Thailand, so that's another good reason to avoid the place lol. What about Laos? I used to be the principal of the international school in beautiful Luang Prabang. All good? Yes, but I'm also a radio amateur, fully licenced in Laos to enjoy my hobby. But I have been arrested twice by the local police because they think I'm some sort of spy!! I was arrested on Christmas Day 2025 and held for several days until the British Embassy intervened and my Lao visa was cancelled and I was deported the same day (you can't make this up..). So that's why I chose Siem Reap for my base. A cheap cost of living, easy and cheap retirement visa for about $300/year. what's not to like? So Siem Reap is now my base and as I mentioned in your last video, I'm in Shan State (Myanmar) right now (March 24th) donating at orphanages. But I'll be back in Siem Reap from about 6th April, in time for the New Year festival….

    6. Cambodia is one of the easy living no stress life style you can find. Thailand and Vietnam are too many people. Roads are so noisy dusty. Also most no regulation at all. Just don't kill people. If you kill someone the villers will kill you. You are free to do almost everything. except commit crime.
