      My parents, sister and I are going to Santorini on the last weekend of February – from my understanding, it's low season, lots are probably closed. I was thinking visiting wineries and just walk a nd explore the towns. But do you recommend renting a car? Any other suggestions or recommendations? Many thanks

      Any thoughts about insurance available via the credit card company? I am traveling from USA and the credit card company says I can decline coverage at the rental counter. Have you run into horror stories with this kind of set up? Thanks in advance.

      I spent 5 days in Santorini and I used A scooter and a 4 wheeler drive. The best thing I did. Dont need to rent a car, this is my opinion. 4 wheeler well equipped works fine and you can park almost anywhere.

      Thank you for the information. We're planning to travel to Santorini and rent a car. It is mentioned in your list that the Philippines no longer required an IDP, international driving permit. This is good news. I tried to look further into this, but Google results still show we need IDP. I believe since this is new information, Google and ChatGPT can't find it yet. Can you please share the documents about the lists of the countries. It will greatly help and give confidence in renting a car. Thank you, and more power to your channel.

      Γειά σου Seb, thank you for your amazing channel and the guide work that you do here! What would be the best and most affordable option to get from the airport to Fira at around midnight arrival in JTR? I checked the rentals charge A LOT just for booking it during irregular hours, so it's cheaper to book for several days during regular pickup/drop-off hours than picking it up at night. Eucharisto!

      Enjoyed my week there in June. But if I were to go back, I wouldn't bother hiring a car. The bus-network met all of my needs. What I would add to my wish-list, if staying away from the beaches, is a good pool at the hotel. I missed that.

      Thank you! Your videos are great! tried to booking a car rental in Santorini through the RentalCars link but nothing showed up with AutoUnion. And there were only cars for pick up at the airport. Is there a local car agency that you recommend for pick up at Fira port?

      Oh💗 this is great information! You are so right about the road to Ammoudi Bay! We had a driver 🚐take us down to the 🐟Fish Tavern a couple of years ago, and the chaos with the vans trying to reverse was unbelievable. This new shuttle system is such a relief for those of us who want to enjoy the bay without the stress!!🙏

      New subscriber here and LOVE your channel! Rookie question for Santorini. We plan to stay on the island for 3 days before flying back on international flight. On the morning we leave Santorini, if we book a flight from Santorini airport that will arrive 9:15am at Athens Intl. Airport, will this give us time for a 1:00pm flight back to the U.S.?
