My biggest motorcycle tour yet | Germany to Spain

In February 2026 I took my trusted BMW R1300GS on a 6000km winter escape tour from Germany to Spain and back. It was the biggest solo motorcycle trip I have done as of yet. The plan was to reach MΓ‘laga in the south of Spain and participate in an hard enduro training, as I am still an off-road beginner and I want to learn more.

In this video I will show you the first time (not the last by the way) I rode 1200km in one day, where I start of winter riding and get to the south west of France to enjoy the sunshine. Furthermore the first 2 days of motorcycle riding in Spain where I try to show interesting roads and the breathtaking Spanish scenic landscapes.

    1. I do youtube and I still don't stop when I'm riding. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ your a better man than me.
Was the choice of tyres just because of the big highway km that you needed to do?

Now you have a glimpse into why I sometimes get frustrated at my drone. "hope he doesn’t lose me" Immediately decides to F off and look at a tree. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
I also laughed my ass off when it decided to attack your rear tyre. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

great to see the spain trip starting. 🀘 been waiting for it.

    2. Looks nice.
Lets see what kind of adventures you and your little bird are up to. Ever considered a dog?
At low revs and under load your GS sound like an old inline six MB-Trac. Not sure if thats a good thing πŸ™‚

    3. Thank you very much for involving us your great journey You were lucky with your drone-accidents occured always on the road. It could fall down in the forest as well.. πŸ˜‚.. Is it possible that you can share the kml data of your route in Spain? Thank you again…
