These Vasque boots were just fantastic. Waterproof, warm, lightweight, versatile for all sorts of hikes, everywhere from the Pacific Northwest to the Black Hills, to the Porcine Mountains.
But as with all my hiking boots, after two years,they developed these holes in both boots, on both sides. And it happens to every boot I’ve ever bought – other than all leather work boots. It doesn’t matter what kind of construction either. This is where all my boots fail.
