Can anyone who used this bag share their experience and help me decide should I buy it?

I'll be tent camping and hiking in late may at Trnovacko lake (Montenegro) for three days, and in mid August at Thet and Valbona valley (Albania) for four days. Also I'll be sleeping at Apostolidis refuge at Olympus mountain in late june (Greece) where sleeping bag is needed.

I need one bag for all. Night temperature on this adventures can drop to close to zero, while higher temperatures shouldn't be a problem with this bag.

Online ordering is not an option, I can buy only in my local stores in Belgrade (Serbia), and this bag seems to be the best contender for my case. Cheers!

    1. If the temperature can dip below 0C, it is barely ok. But with a thin and lightweight liner, it will be more then enough. The weight of the bag is also pretty nice at 1,263 grams (2 lb 13 oz).

I personnally think it’s on the expensive side, but Sea to Summit is a top quality brand.

    2. Have a similar one from Mammut (same temp range). At 0 C you should add some long undies or a liner. Have a warm soup or drink before you sleep and you’re A-OK.

Also, it depends on how you camp. A tent usually raises the temperature a bit. So if outside is – 1 C, the inside might be 5/6 C. All depends on circumstances.

Sea to summit is a solid choice though! Price seems okay.

Most temperature ratings are survival ratings, not comfort ratings. Conventional wisdom suggests you should add 10° to the rating for comfort.  So if night temperatures can drop down to 0°, you really want a -10° bag.
