Germany Road Trip 🇩🇪 | Castles, Medieval Towns & the Autobahn
We left Munich and started a road trip across Germany on our way to Berlin 🚗🇩🇪 Instead of driving straight there, we spent four days stopping in several towns along the way. This video follows that drive through southern and central Germany, including castles, historic town centers, local food, and a few unexpected stops.
Below are some of the places we visited along the route.
📍Ingolstadt
– Neues Schloss (New Castle)
📍Nuremberg
– Altstadt (Old Town)
– Underground Brewery Cellars Tour
– Bratwursthäusle Restaurant
📍Bamberg
– Altes Rathaus
– Max Liebold Butcher Shop
– Schlenkerla Brewery
– Altenburg Castle
– Hain Park
📍Coburg
📍Erfurt
– Domplatz (Cathedral Square)
– Erfurt Cathedral
– Local market stalls
📍Leipzig
– Südfriedhof (Southern Cemetery)
– Monument to the Battle of the Nations
Final stop:
📍 Berlin
🍺 Along the way we also tried traditional German food, local sausages, chimney cake, smoked beer, and even a McDonald’s stop before arriving in Berlin.

Good Tour! Germany is not only Neuschwahnstein, Hofbräuhaus, Heidelberg and Brandenburger Tor!
Nice, that you don't follow most of your fellows routes 😊
Driving fast on the Autobahn might be the most underwhelming experience, because it is so smooth. You only notice because your speedometer shows a high number.
13:10 The famous German town of Lipstick … got to get my road map out which miraculously survived the rise of google maps in my basement. Need to find it, really! 🦄
Hi you two, welcome to Germany and especially to my hometown of Berlin. I hope you have lots of fun and enjoyment here, and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Otherwise, enjoy your currywurst and döner! – smile – …and please don't take it personally if we occasionally use typical Berlin bluntness. Greetings from Berlin!
In Nuremberg, there once was, and still is, the executioner's house. Since nobody wanted to live next to an executioner in the Middle Ages, it was located just outside the city! The office of executioner was passed down from generation to generation.
You should also know that Berliners aren't popular in Germany!!!… I could say more, but I'll remain silent out of politeness…. By the way "politeness" is a word no Berliner knows!
Interesting fact you could have visited the grave of Pope Clemens II in the Bamberger Dom. The only Pope buried outside Rom.
You hit some of my favorite spots.
You even drove around where I live.
But seriously, an Opel is absolutely the wrong car for having fun on the Autobahn. 😁
And there are castles that are really worth seeing and are hardly ever mentioned in travel guides.
"Oma" is a term of endearment for grandmother. "Opa" is grandfather.
I've also been to Canada, back when I was in the German army. I drove a tank and was stationed there for a few months.
Linksverkehr Schleicher….
Nice one, really enjoyable and chill vlog.
About Gluten-free: If you don't have a disease or gluten sensibility, it makes no sense to avoid it, because it's not inherently unhealthy in any way. On the contrary, by switching to gluten-free, but sometimes highly processed alternatives, it can be unhealthier in the end. Of course, if you switch from unhealthy foods over to healthy gluten-free whole foods, you're gonna feel better, but then it was primarily because whole foods are better in general. Unless you have a sensibility, which I don't know. But for the average healthy person, avoiding things like gluten or GMO food brings no health benefits.
10:47: Gampertbräu!
Fruit that has fallen on the ground is often still processed into juice! So yes… it can be very tasty and sweet because it has hung for a long time.
I grew up near Bonn, and back then we had apple orchards all around our village, and apple farmers in the village itself. It was always great to be able to get fresh apples almost any time of year.
Most honest road trip since a while on social media ive seen. Keep it like that please.
After watching I feel totally relaxed. Thank you.
160… woooh
German: Get away you are slow 🙂
Sorry, but it IS Not Lippsick, it IS Leipzig …😅
I am sorry that i have to tell you, that you can not brew good beer with dirty water. So the water in the medieval times was never dirty at all.
But i am very happy that you enjoyed your trip.
Of corse Germany is very different by its serval parts and you cant compare west to east or north to south. You even can divide North in two seperate parts ( north sea and baltic Sea part ) and south as well. So to see all of it you would need much more time.
But i hope you enjoy your stay as we enjoy your vids.
Best wishes and take care
Glad you enjoy your time here! Willkommen in Deutschland 😊. Have a great holiday ❤
halleluja.. you made 100 miles per hour 😉 (which is not really much…)
Bamberg, my Hometown!
Your daughter is my future ur so beautiful ngl ❤

Love Germany ❤💛🖤 from libya ❤️🖤💚
Hier in Nemberch is hald einfach schee! 😁
The two of them are looking at architecture, having a nice meal, and then driving to the next place. I can understand why they tried McDonald's. I would have tried it too in another country, because everyone knows that McDonald's food tastes a little different in every country, and sometimes they have different burgers or shakes. Best regards from Lower Saxony in Germany
