This Walmart tent is almost as old as I am, probably 28/29 years at this point. We took it out on a trip two weeks ago with myself, my mom, and my daughter (three generations of women!) and it was an absolute champ. My mom said she was going to get rid of it after this trip, because it *is* starting to struggle, but in my opinion it is completely still usable, just harder to set up than it used to be.

My biggest regret is that I'm not able to donate it to my daughter's Girl Scout troop (I'm the leader), because this tent is located in Southern California and I am on the East Coast 🙁 She said it would cost more to ship than buying a brand new tent, and she is not wrong.

Not pictured is the smaller tent attachment that you can see goes on to the front. That still worked beautifully as well, and my 12 year old loved having that small space all to herself. Bonus: the picnic blanket that is on the ground out front to wipe our feet is almost 25 years old too. It was a wonderful few days of nostalgia!

this would be perfect if you wanted to run a window unit air conditioner in the little hole to the left of the door!

I have one exactly like that. Bought in 2001 from Walmart 🙂 still being used as of today. Just checked out of camping ground in Joshua tree. Still standing firm 😝
