🇫🇷 Motorhome Stop Near Calais | FREE Aire in Esquelbecq (Perfect Pre-Shuttle Stop)

In this final episode of our Belgium & northern France motorhome adventure, we cross into France and find a peaceful FREE aire in Esquelbecq, just 30-40 minutes from Calais and the Eurotunnel.

This turned out to be the perfect last stop before heading home – quiet, safe, and ideal if you want to avoid staying too close to the busy port areas.

For us, after a previous near break-in experience near Calais, this was exactly the kind of place we were looking for… and we slept really well.

A great option if you’re travelling from Belgium or northern France and need a safe motorhome stop before Calais or Dunkirk.

💛 Why We’re Doing This
Alongside our travels, we’re raising £10,000 for Childline (NSPCC).
