Before booking, I had requested a replacement for the bhuna as I’m a pussy when it comes to spice. That was the scallop and pork belly dish. The wine pairings, to my naive wine brain, worked well. The damson soufflé was fantastic. The duck was perfect. And I always like a good cheese soufflé. Service is severely lacking but they claim to not be fine dining so whatever.

I lurk here a lot. For the most part what I see are beautiful plates that are a feast for the eyes, but do absolutely nothing to stir my appetite. The plates look like art, not food. These photos are making me hungry.
Can you elaborate on why the service was extremely lacking? Seems a bit of a biggie to leave unaddressed.
Food looks excellent.
