Ot kettles because we don’t drink hot tea, we dump it in harbors 😂. NOW, ice tea…we drink a LOT of that.
Sea lions are one thing, elephant seals are another thing. They are Huge! And amazing
Go to any Walmart Target Ross, and You will Find Electric Kettles. There's tons of places with Kettles.
Salmon Creek in the 60s and 70s was hippy heaven. Camping, swimming, skinny dipping, and lots of hippy girls. One of my favorite places in my youth. Thanks.
what a pot of people don't know is that those waterfalls are spewing freshwater from underground where ancient trees were cut and punctured
the sunroof also slides back, you accidentally just got the tilt up setting
I like the cut of your jib keep up the good work
it's gorgeous
<——— American that uses a kettle on the daily for pour over coffee. Most Americans dont drink tea. Mystery solved.
Tipping is being (deliberately) confused by modern cash registers. Don't tip for counter service. Or at most, put a small amount in the tip jar from physical change. Never tip fast food (even at a drive through). I've very occasionally tipped (in a tip jar) at a bakery.
ALWAYS tip for table service. Don't be embarrassed to tip 15%. Tip 20% to reward better service. For a bad experience ? That's a hard one. If it's the food? Complain and see if they discount the check. But if the server did well and it's not their fault? Don't punish them. If they're apologetic and polite over something not in their control? I might even overtip them. If the server was rude or incompetent? Honestly? I won't tip at all on those rare occasions but try and quietly tell someone in charge what happened.
For delivery? Tip 10 to 15%. If it's an unattended delivery? Maybe less if they were very sloppy with the drop off (left it outside when they didn't have to, for example, instead of in a lobby or on a porch, or if they damaged the food/containers).
Always tip services. Overtip people cutting your hair if you intend to return. Decently, but don't excessively tip hotel staff when leaving, but if you also tip at the beginning (for carrying your bags for example) you probably want to overtip a bit so they treat you better during your stay. I overtip taxis, but only because my grandfather drove one. Usually just round up then add enough extra cash to get to above 10%. I'm split on Uber. Like food delivery you often tip after the fact via an App. I probably should be more generous with them.
Yes those are zebra and sea lions, what you saw along the way on highway 1 after Big Sur California
If you think California was wild, come on up here to Alaska. It's a little further out of the way.
I’ve just discovered your channel and I think you are now my favorite YouTubers. You guys are really down to earth and the content is just awesome!! And the British accent is definitely a plus lol
Water temp in February is around 13 c.
ONLY tip for service. Someone is waiting on you, things like that. Not for people just doing their job.
Cmon, it was Simon! Lol
Guys…you want to travel to the most beautiful destination in America? Take hwy 70 through the Rocky Mountains to Vail Colorado. Absolutely stunning!!!!!!
William Hearst brought the zebras there. He had a zoo at his house.
