Welcome to Malta π²πΉ This is the first video in our new Malta series, and we explore the architectural wonder that is VALLETTA β€
In this series we'll be travelling around the fascinating tiny country of Malta, the sunniest of Europe's Microstates.
We hope you enjoy this series and we look forward to hearing from you:

Oh wow! Wasn't expecting such an interesting video. I've learnt about Malta's history today.
Absolutely amazing β€ Valletta is definitely one for the bucket list. Malta has always been on my one day list of places to visit, so this is going to be very interesting for me π
Malta is a lovely place but I like Gozo better. I hope you got to see some of the stoneage sites and the catacombs, theyre very special.
Malta looks amazing, I hope to visit one day! SPAR is a Dutch chain, not Britishπ
Looks nice in Malta
I'm loving that shirt Lee.x
Great video x
Wow , Malta looks amazing. Thank you for the history.
Valletta looks great ππ. Learning that Malta has such brilliant public transport and great weather and so many sights makes me want to go, too… Travel-planning… one of my great hobbies – whether we finally end up going to the destination or not π. But Malta would certainly be a realistic option for us. Rather reasonably priced, too, as it appears. I've got a slight problem with churches charging massive entrance fees, though… I think the catholic church can afford being hospitable to all by generally letting them into their gorgeous buildings without charge – just my personal opinion . Anyway, attending a service sometimes is a good solution, as you mentioned, and in some places one gets to hear a choir on top… (I visited Evensong in Westminster Abbey a couple of years ago, which was brilliant and totally free, while at other times they charge an arm and al leg…) Ok, I'm rambling here π. The heat must have been quite a contrast after Iceland π₯Ά. I do hope that your medical appointment went well, Mandy, if it's already over? Take care…π€
I've been to Malta many times over nearly 50 years. It's changed so much. Going back later this year.
We are going to Malta, in a few days, for the first time. We will stay in Birgu and will, no doubt use the buses a lot. Thanks for the information.
If you don't know what those " alien plants " were hanging from the tree or anything else, plants, objects, etc, use Google on your phone take a picture of it and Google will tell you what is it right away π
Another fascinating video. Never been so listened carefully to your tips and history–both very useful for (hopefully) a trip in the future. Food looked marvelous as well. Cheers to you both.
Thsnk you mandy and Lee for such a great video. Your videos annoy me sometimes because after seeing them im now adding another country to my bucket list. π π€£ π π im trying to squeeze Malta in this year before Djibouti, anyway happy travels and stay safe . Cheers from Australia π¦πΊ
Hello !!!! So Ghawdex is pronounced Gozo? Hmmmmm. I thought Iceland language was hard to work out. hehe – love ya work. – back after a digital detox. π
Iβm flying there in two days π
We have lived on Gozo for the last 13 years, the only downside is too many tourists!
Running at 4 million a year now against a population of about 500,000 for both islands!
No peace for us but is still nice. Enjoy.
Looks an amazing place, I've never visited! I once worked with a guy who went at least once a year for years, stayed at the same place he was virtually family! Take care and stay safe x πβ€π¬π§
We were enthralled by this video and weβve added yet another location for when we begin our own adventure around the world. Malta sounds so interesting and incredibly beautiful. Thanks for another great video. π
I love going to malta and have been many times , I don't like how they block the windows on the buses with adverts, after all it's a holday island and people want to look at the scenery , incidentally there's some toilets at the bus station and barrakka gardens π
