      This photo was taken at the MLK Memorial Library in DC. It was designed by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, who completed the task in 1972 at a cost of $18 million. In 2020, the library was renovated by Mecanooat a cost of $220 million, which completely modernized the entire interior design, as seen above.

      Mesmerizing! Love these colors. Like a ribbon of light that pulls you upward. Definitely makes me want to visit even more.

      I worked on this project, it was great seeing the design come together as it neared completion.

      If you look at the children’s area there’s a built in large wooden slide too, it confused the hell out of me for months on end because it wasn’t labeled as a slide.

    4. wow that wood paneling is so sleek, really makes the curves pop ✨ anyone been able to visit this spot IRL?
