DAY 1️⃣ Fly into Olbia in the morning, pick up your rent car, and drive 2 hours south to Baunei! Explore Baunei town + stay in Baunei or Santa Maria Navarrese tonight!

DAY 2️⃣ Take a boat tour along the world famous Baunei Coast + experience some of the most beautiful beaches in the world – drive to San Tedoro/Olbia to sleep!

DAY 3️⃣ Another day, another boat! Spend the day cruising around Tavolara and Molara islands by boat, with stops to swim + snorkel in some of the most warm, gorgeous waters in Europe! Stay in Olbia tonight!

DAY 4️⃣ Explore beaches around Porto Cervo and Olbia; that evening, take the ferry over to La Maddalena, have dinner in Palau and stay in La Maddalena for the night!

DAY 5️⃣ It’s a BOAT trip kinda day around La Maddalena archipelago! Come back to La Maddalena town after the boat to explore the town and have dinner. (Stay a second night in La Maddalena.)

DAY 6️⃣ Explore Caprera island!! Get your hiking shoes and go on the magnificent Cala Coticcio hike! After the hike have dinner in La Maddalena town!

DAY 7️⃣ Go to one of the best beaches – testa del polpo – and get there early in the morning, then beach hop around. You can take an evening flight to your next destination or catch a flight tomorrow morning.

[You can also do this entire itinerary in reverse, starting in La Maddalena and ending in Baunei + heading onward to Cagliari if you have extra time🚨]

😍SARDINIA has SO MUCH TO OFFER, so this itinerary obviously doesn’t cover it all, but we think this is a REALLY GREAT place to start for your FIRST trip to Sardinia!!
