We Spent $100 in Hong Kong and Ended Up Eating Snake Soup!

We took the $100 challenge in Hong Kong to see how far one hundred dollars could stretch in one of Asia’s most expensive cities β€” and honestly, the result surprised us. A full day of eating, exploring, shopping, and a couple of cold pints later, we finally tallied it up.

  1. The thing to understand about that claw machine is that the prizes are in loose fitting plastic which makes it exponentially harder. I mean that and the 7 second time limit makes them the most rigged machines I think I have ever seen.
    Great video guys πŸ‘

  2. "Ladies Market" is called "Ladies Market" because back in the day (around the '60s) it mostly offered things for women (undergarments, all other 'women stuff') at affordable prices since department store offerings were quite expensive back then. This market eventually evolved into things of all types gearing toward tourists….

  3. 28:20 Buses are straightforward, pay when you get on, ring the bell to get off at the next stop. Google maps is decent for this, and there are dedicated apps too for live arrival information.

  4. Excited to see your family in Hong Kong. September 2008 was the last time I was there when Hong Kong had the Paralympics for the equestrian competitions. It is the city in Asia where East meets West with Singapore in a close second. I hope that Hong Kong will preserve and maintain its uniqueness
