Site is 32'x36'. I sprayed weed killer the evening before and had brats, peppers and onions for dinner. The next day I had 5 ton of #11 spread. It could really use another 5 ton. Which I may do later. I also wish I had not been talked out of installing weed barrier prior to gravel. But whatever, its better enough. And besides I'd end up poking holes in it staking down my tents and canopy. The existing gravel has been there for probably 15yrs. So it'll be fine. Bald Eagle fly over for more freedoms.

    glad you like it!

i prefer grass over gravel when i’m camping, but it’s all your game on your land! makes it easier to maintain, i’d guess. 🙂

i drive my family crazy picking the weeds while camping, they say we are not supposed to modify the vegetation in parks, but weeds are weeds i dont care: they gotta go, especially around a fire pit. very nice spot

That’s so awesome, I’d love to have a tiny plot of land to use just for camping!

Nothing says I love the great outdoors quite like hosing down 1000+ square feet of vegetation with some herbicides.

I need to see more pictures of people’s camping food creations! Is there a sub for that?
