The French weather Gods hate me! | Bayonne-La Rochelle on a GSA | WINTER MOTORCYCLE TOUR ’26: DAY 12

Greetings YouTube! Hit that subscribe button and join me as I’m getting it done and working my way north on the last full day of the tour. Could this be my last gasp of blue skies and sunshine before Spring finally arrives, or will the Heavens open up on me like they usually do?

Only one way to find out… let’s ‘ave it!

    1. I hate riding when itโ€™s chucking it down, at least on the Beemer youโ€™re not getting lube washed off your chain. I think youโ€™ve been super lucky with the weather.

    2. Blimey, it really brings it home how crap the weather is from mid France upwards. I think I need to consider spending more winters in Spain at some pointโ€ฆ

    3. Hi Steve
We're off to Amalfi early May and our first stop is Reims so I'm hoping it stops raining soon, great video as normal, can you let me know what camera you're using as the Mrs loves the quality of your videos, thank you

    4. Enjoying the tour series as always Steve. Just a quick question are you an Android or Apple user with the Carpuride and are you using Google maps?.. sorry 2 questions ๐Ÿ˜Š

    5. Steve, I learn new things everyday "it is absolutely pants out there" saddened this one is over as those roads where stunning and know new things are to come with a lovely ride out with your partner.

    6. OK, Evel Knievel with the chopper bike, Steve that made me laugh out loud getting the board and the bricks out with your chopper bike my cousin and I did that all the time in our teens, and then on our mini bikes.
Fabulous video love the sites. What a long ride that day was sorry that you got rained on again.
Always looking forward to the next video cheers, mate!

    7. Not too bad a run Steve, well until the rain, of course. Have you ever been on tour when it's not rained on you ๐Ÿ˜‚. Never mind, not long till home, and you will find out how much Mira has been on her bike. Keep the videos coming, I really enjoy them.

    8. Hello traveller,
Another lovely story interwoven with the local weather. From sunshine to rain, yet still managing to stay positive in the moment. And on the way home, thereโ€™s always a bit of a longing for the comfort of home.

    9. Huge thanks Steve, I am watching this mid April and we have fianally got rid of the rain in Blighty and are enjoying some wecome Sunshine. It's been a great adventure and it did put a bit of warmth on the screen when it was pritty grim here. I feel like I want to get out of it and go to southern Spain around Novemebr until February! See you soon in the next one, Mike.

    10. I can't believe that you don't appreciate the graffiti. It's"street art" don't you know? Sarcasm aside. I share your distaste. Banksy has got a lot to answer for.

    11. Fantastic Steve, again a route we've done and are doing again in June ! Stayed in Bayonne 4 years ago but dropped lucky as the Wheels and Waves festival was on in Biarritz just down the road ! We'd planned a 2 night stop over but ended up as 3 ! ๐Ÿคฃ well worth a look if you time it right – 2nd week of June if I remember, biggest gathering of custom bikes and Harleys outside the States I believe, but it was great ! Then on the ferry to Royan ans back to the boat and home ! Was a cracking trip so we're doing it again but without Biarritz due to time constraints ! Keep doing what your doing dude it's awesome and keep safe ! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ
