New to this subreddit but visited here in March and I’m still thinking about it. Service was outstanding. Anyone is willing to assist or answer any questions you have, whether it be about the dining space, food, staff, processes, you name it and they are there.
I also have a shellfish allergy and they were the most accommodating of any place I’ve been, preparing two alternate dishes for me as well as an extra first bite. My wife even told me that my cod dish was better than her scallop.
They got their Michelin star just 10 weeks after opening and it’s more than deserved. If I ever found myself back in the San Diego area I’d probably try somewhere like the Addison just to experience something new, but I hope to be back here one day. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone.

Lilo is for sure on the fast track to 2 stars, never had a bad meal there
I loved Lilo and thought it was so different for the community. Really cool to see folks from SD, a notoriously chill place, be dressed to the 9s for dinner out. Excellent service when I went as well.
Very nice..It is on my bucket list!
For those who’ve been to both, how is Lilo compared to Jeune et Jolie since they are both the same owners? Interested in trying but don’t know if I want to spend the $$$ on Lilo vs a cheaper meal at Jeune if they’re about the same.
