Is this the most beautiful town in the South of France? | Villefranche-sur-Mer Vlog

Join me for a sun-drenched day trip from Antibes to Villefranche-sur-Mer, one of the most picturesque towns on the French Riviera. This wasn’t just a day of sightseeing; it was a journey filled with Mediterranean beauty, local art, and a very special family connection to WWII history.

We start the day with a leisurely lunch at our favorite waterfront spot in town. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a meal while watching the boats bob on the Mediterranean and people-strolling along the quay.

After lunch, we head up to the historic Citadel to explore the museums and take in the local art displays. But the most meaningful part of our trip was heading into the heart of town to visit a monument with a deep personal history. My grandfather was a WWII paratrooper who fought behind enemy lines alongside French troops in this very area. Last year, we were honored to attend the dedication of this monument, and returning to see it again was an emotional highlight of our time in the South of France.
