Time for sweets! Alchemist Cafe Patisserie serves enormous Greek cakes that are impossible to resist. We go in for the famous Galaktoboureko with its flaky phyllo and creamy custard, plus the unforgettable Ekmek, a sweet Greek staple loaded with syrup, cream, and amazing textures. A dessert lover’s dream in the heart of Athens.

Dinner means souvlaki, and Sarri’s Souvlaki is among the best in Athens! The smell outside will pull you in, but the flavor keeps you there — chicken, pork, lamb, all grilled to juicy perfection. This was a seriously incredible street food experience, cooked masterfully and packed with local energy.

A new day starts the right way: We try delicious bougatsa — flaky, warm, feta-filled pastry perfection — and witness the shop filled with hundreds of pastries. Everything smells amazing and it’s nearly impossible to choose just one.

Lunch takes us to Πλατεία Οινομαγειρείο, one of the best places to enjoy real, local Greek flavors. From silky fava and fresh eggplant salad to Dakos, kebabs, chicken, and more — this spot has everything you want from authentic Greek cooking under one roof.
*Tylixto | Monastiraki*
