    1. French here ! If you go to the Boulangerie in the morning (7-8 AM) you can also ask them when are the times that they bake their Viennoiserie/ breads. That way you can wait or come back at the indicated time to get your goods right out the oven. (Worth trying for a viennoiserie). Some even warn you when an other batch is almost done so you can chose to wait or get a ‘less’ fresh batch.

Plus for the bread/baguettes, you can be picky and ask for a « whiter » bread (less cooked) or a bread « bien cuit » (more browned)

    2. You made an important point about timing. I had a fish burger for lunch at Ernest et Valentin. The food had just come out of the kitchen and it was so delicious. On another occasion I went to another outlet of Ernest et Valentin, and it was in the evening and I needed to reheat the hot food in the microwave and for something like battered or breaded fish, it made a huge difference.

    3. It all looks so wonderful! Oh to be able to enjoy these type of pastries in Edmonton, Alberta! Anyone out there know if Edmonton has an authentic French bakery?

    4. In case the surcharge bit wasn't clear, the Frenchies chose sandwiches that were from the SIGNATURE level (see the sign by the sandwiches), which the menu indicates costs an extra euro. The ham sandwiches are marked INCONTOURNABLE, the base level, which would have been 10 euros.

    5. So we have been watching for quite a long time, hmmmm so when we have visitors come to Canada 🇨🇦, we don't have all these rules of you are best to do this that, we should be able to travel anyway and not have snobby anytime because we didn't say HELLO RIGHT! OR SAY THE RIGHT WORD FOR A COSSOIANT,, THATS CRAZY, understanding your giving advice but between your pick pockets peeps and you always mentioning the language expected, we are all hmmm
Just saying too that Americans are not the only ones that visit Paris ❤
We truly do love you both have gotten others to subscribe and watch

    6. Thank you for recommending Ble sucre in your past video… I find their croissant and pain au chocolat the best! There are still many i want to try in my coming trip in October!

    7. I didn´t understand how the attendant explained the 1 euro plus for each of you. Did she say something like "un gamme apres"? What does it mean?

    8. Ahhhh, the days when I could make the most of that! What's it like for gluten-free? I'm guessing bakeries won't have anything (much)?

    9. In Paris you're never far from a boulangerie and never far from a park or little square with benches. That's how many people spend their lunch time, unless it's raining of course.

    10. I'm a little surprised you didn't handle the details of paying, beyond "have your card ready." It would be useful to tell people to be ready to say "par carte svp" — or to get ready to have money if what they are buying is below the card threshold, maybe 5 EUR. I realize this content is for tourists and they mightn't carry money, but if they have to use un monnayeur automatique that can be really challenging.

    11. We stopped at this very Bakery before going in Gare Du Nord. 🥖 🇫🇷 Hopefully 🙏🏻 we will be there again soon. Using our knowledge from Les Frenchies Channel the #1 resource in Paris. 🏆
