    1. Greetings again from Australia. After following your previous episodes through Europe with Nadia and husband along the Garonne and Canal Di Midi we are very excited to follow this current trip your on from Trier to Koblenz as my wife and I are doing the same trip in a couple of months on bikes we are renting in Trier ( Ebikes we cheat )…. Make sure to spend a bit of time in Beilstein about 4.5 hours from Trier on the Moselle. Its a beautiful little town. Very small. Thanks for sharing your trip. Max and Fiona.

    2. I can’t understand why people laugh when they look at cycling as a method of transportation, I get the same locally to me, my nearest supermarket is approximately 1.5 miles away, yet the derogatory comments I get when I cycle to do a shop, also the comments I get when I ride one of my two folding bikes, a Birdy and a Brompton, some of them are “Why are you riding a child’s bike” or “That’s a small bike” when I tell them to look online and check out the prices, I usually ask “Would you pay that for a child’s bike”

    3. Thanks for sharing your journey. We planning the reverse trip later this year on our tandem, from Venice to Rotterdam, then ferry back to the UK. We plan to camp most of the time, but would like to know how far in advance you book your accommodation?

    4. We did Trier to Koblenz in ‘23 and Trier to Dijon in ‘24. Bern kausel was one of the highlights where we discovered a stations of the cross trail that led to a beautiful tiny chapel. So excited for the next few episodes of your trip. Thank you so much for posting these. Stu & Naomi Australia.
