🔴 On-Ride video, Front Row POV with queue of “Piraten in Batavia”, a fantastic pirate themed boat ride / dark ride manufactured by german manufacturer Mack Rides, the owners of Europa-Park. In this video, you’ll also be able to visit the highly themed queue before boarding with pirate Robbemond and his otter sidekick Jopie to sail from the Netherlands to the city of Batavia in eastern asia (a former Dutch colony). There, Robbemond tries to find a magical dagger, the Fire Tiger, which his rival Cortez is also after. During the ride guests pass trough an Indonesian village, the city of Batavia, then fight pirates and end up in a temple in the jungle to ultimately find the dagger. This boat ride is located in the Holland area of Europa-Park, in Germany. It opened in 2020 after 2 years of refurbishment since the original ride from 1987 was destroyed in a fire in 2018.
