Great video. It’s weird, I just came back from Kirkwall last week. Had a great few days. Even took the ferry to Sanday, but I didn’t leave ferry, just a round trip and back to Kirkwall. I would love to come back to the Orkney Islands. So much to discover. Me, being from Norway, find the norse connection and history very interesting.

What a fascinating and surprising place Kirkwall is. Those buildings we saw are not at all what we'd expect particularly the sophistication of Tankness House. Looking forward to see the remote island next week and watching your take on it having seen glimpses before in "through Lucys Lens" last year.

What a beautiful place! I notice the beautiful knitted patterns. food likes delicious. had no idea whiskey was white and got the colour from the wood!
Thank you, I have seen St Magnus Cathedral in a few other channels and I just love the complexity of it. I'm pleased St Magnus was returned to his column tomb. The walk around was peaceful and it feels so much better than busy streets with well known named stores and food outlets. I can't wait to see what you think of Boloquoy. See you next week =-).

Found the light fascinating , it definitely has a different quality especially as it fades , don’t suppose you were awake when it grew light again , as that would be interesting to experience . You can tell I have never been so far North or South for that matter , so looking forward to the next stage of your journey it’s going to be very interesting.
