    1. Thanks! Love this since I just purchased my ticket to Japan for next year. Question, I was going to Hakone instead of the other Fuji town but don’t see anything on your page about that area. Is it not worth going to?

    2. This sounds a lot for first timer. I go to Japan once a year. If I do stay in Tokyo, I personally prefer Ueno or Asakusa because it is an easy access to Tokyo station. It makes sense for those who have a 7 days or 14 days JR pass. Asakusa also has direct access to the Tobu line. Taking the nice looking Spacia X to Nikko is a must. For those who go to Nagano in the late Spring and summer months, don’t ever skip the trip to Kamikochi. I think going to Matsumoto but not Kamikochi is definitely a waste. Kamikochi only opens a few months each year (usually from late April to early November). I would say Kyoto is getting really too crowded in the recent years. There are many other places can just give you the same Edo feel but with a fraction of the crowd, like Takayama, Kanazawa. If that is not enough, walking the entire Nakasendo trail like in the old days will definitely do it . I am going to Japan soon. I will be going to the cities around the Seto Inland Sea this time. People should explore further, like going to Okayama, Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kagoshima, Beppu, Miyazaki, those are the places with stunning views. I am planning to visit all of the “most beautiful villages in Japan”. I got a few down already. It is definitely fun when your fellow travelers are only Japanese. When you ask for direction, the Japanese person politely answers “I am a traveler too, let us find out together”. It is so much more fun!

    4. Wow SUPER packed schedule. I appreciate that it goes all over Japan. I'll adjust the schedule to hopefully hit some more mountains/hikes but really appreciate the template! I'd recommend a baseball game if its the right season and you somehow squeeze in the time. It's a ton of fun and even more lively than games here in the states.

    5. This schedule would require a LOT of energy and give you little time to really get to know Japan. It's a lot of tourist hot spots and a lot of travel. I would consider turning this into two trips and taking your time.

    6. I Will finally be flying out to Japan in a couple of weeks and it’s nice to say that my itinerary isn’t very much different than this one! Except I’ll be devoting most of my time to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka only. However, one of my days in Osaka consists of visiting Nijigen No Mori for the Naruto / Boruto theme park! I’ll definitely pick and choose recommendations from here to add to my itinerary as well. I can’t wait for my trip!!

    7. How busy is team labs around 10 am is that still considered early? I bought a 10 am time slot do you still have to get there early to get in for your scheduled time?

    8. Thank you so much for putting this together. Husband and I went on a circle Japan cruise in April and we're going back in November. Six nights in Tokyo, six nights in Osaka, and three nights at Tokyo Disney Resort. We've been watching your videos to get ideas of what to make sure we hit while we are there.

    9. I am visualizing 5K people going to the same spots following this itinerary. Makes every location that bit less stunning when you are jostling for a view with a gazillion other people. I can totally understand why the locals are feeling less than welcoming to tourists.

    10. Wish you had dropped this a few months ago while we were planning lol. We have our last 2 days in Tokyo before we return. This is a very solid list but enoshima was a great experience in my opinion. Especially after dealing with so much city hustle. I thought we needed a full week just for Tokyo.. not the case at all. Have you been to Yokohama? Worth a day trip?

    11. Heading with a family of 4(2 kids) in late October/Early Nov. Likely going to probably only do the golden route. Having said that, man it makes me sad not to see some of the really beautiful castles. Thanks so much for the awesome video!

    12. Your channel is getting me and my wife and daughter ready for Japan. We’re going from November 4th-17th. SUPER EXCITED

    13. Thanks for all the incredible tips my trip was great. But I didn't follow any of your itineraries. I decided to do just tokyo for about two weeks and am so glad I didn't have a crazy jam packed trip like yours haha. Taking tokyo slow was possibly the best decision I ever made. So nice to not be on a strict go go go schedule.

    14. I’ve been watching all your Japan content in the months leading up to my first Japan trip. I finally fly out tomorrow! Thanks for all the amazing helpful content Hoang. Keep it up!

    15. Personally I like my trips slower paced would you recommend just doing Tokyo and Kyoto for my first 11 day trip, thanks.

    16. This video has been super helpful. Planning a 2-week trip for the first time next spring and it's encouraging to see that several of the items I had put together on my to-do list got your endorsement

    17. I’m going to Japan Sep 7th to the 24! I’ll have 15 full days (18 days). Staying in Shibuya for the first 4 nights. Should i add anything else to this trip or should I just slow the pace down a little. We kinda want to hit the country side a little more.

My friend will be with us sep 7th to the 17th. So we will probably do the opposite direction. So he can see the city mostly.

Also my name is Kobe so I gotta take a trip to Kobe haha

    18. Helllo Hoang . First of all thank you for all the work you put in this video . A lot of good things to get . Question as i would like to make a similar trip . Which pass did you get for the trains ? or did you purchashe single tickets every time you use the the train ?
