Puerto Banús lies just west of Marbella, before the charming town of San Pedro Alcántara. Developed in the 1970s by local entrepreneur José Banús, this prestigious marina was built in one of Marbella’s most scenic locations, framed by the stunning Sierra Blanca mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

Today, Puerto Banús is renowned as one of the Costa del Sol’s most glamorous destinations, attracting celebrities, luxury travellers, and visitors looking to enjoy its vibrant atmosphere. The marina offers the perfect setting to relax with a drink while admiring impressive superyachts, luxury sports cars, and the lively waterfront.

Shopping is a major attraction, with an exceptional selection of high-end boutiques lining both the front and second rows of the marina. International luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Gucci, Dior, Versace, and many others all have a presence here, making Puerto Banús a premier destination for designer fashion.

While Marbella is famous throughout Europe for its sophisticated nightlife, many of its most exclusive bars, restaurants, and clubs are centred around Puerto Banús. The marina has an energetic atmosphere throughout the day, but it truly comes alive after sunset, particularly during the summer season. Visitors and locals alike gather to enjoy stylish venues, with much of the nightlife concentrated along Calle Ribera and the surrounding streets, where bars and clubs remain open into the early hours.
