KLM’s secret World Business Class route… | Flight Review | Santiago-Buenos Aires | 777-200ER
Flying a Dutch airline between Chile and Argentina might sound unusual… but that’s exactly what KLM does on one of the world’s most fascinating fifth freedom routes.
Join me onboard KLM’s Boeing 777-200ER as we fly from Santiago to Buenos Aires in World Business Class, experiencing a route many travellers don’t even realise exists. From the warm Dutch hospitality and iconic Delft House gift to the unique atmosphere onboard, this was a seriously memorable flight.
KLM quietly operates one of the strangest routes in South America, and the onboard experience is surprisingly premium. Come along for the ride!

Flown KLM's business class? What's your thoughts on it? Let me know below!
Service is always great on KLM, your partner is right. Not an anomoly, just crew that really care!
In the lounge Alcoholic drinks could be served between 10am-to 1am which makes more sense. There are several lounges in the US with similar opening times. Good report as usual. Santiago looked good.
Great content. I would not be surprised if you get more views and followers soon 😊
I love KLM but compare some of their features to their partner AF. AF has a mattress – that KLM seat is hard for sleeping – and the food is much better on AF. Plus on AF free Starlink. But then there’s the Delft house which is a lovely collectable.
I'm flying KLM World Business Class to Miami at the end of August. It seems to be on one of their 2-2-2 config A330s, though. Even so, I can't wait – even more so after watching your video! (So please don't let me down, KLM! 🤞)
nice short flight: the Andes are always very impressive. Ams-BA v.v. is always long and boring, even in BC!
Another fantastic video highlighting what us avgeeks want to know. Hope ur well James, keep the videos coming, ur doing great work for aviation.
Thank you for sharing. Safe travels and have an amazing week. Cheers.
A 10 out of 10 for the meal, a Delft House to take home, and a crew that made you feel truly welcome. 😊 Sounds like a flight to remember! Reviews like yours mean the world to us! 💙
As you know I flew KLM on two short-haul flights earlier this year and it’s fantastic to see their long-haul product is just as good. For me KLM are the best airline I’ve flown with to date.
Everything is on point from their, service, branding, attention to detail, meals & leg-room (economy).
Thanks for the video! As you noted, the flight in C-class wasn’t busy so it’s possible to deliver a hot meal with relatively few passengers.
Would you fly this KLM fifth-freedom route?
