The Black Forest in Germany is a place of fairy tales, cuckoo clocks, and world-famous Black Forest cake. But as we quickly discovered, van life here isn’t always a walk in the park!
In this episode, we’re winding our way through some of the most beautiful forest roads we’ve ever driven, chasing stunning waterfalls, and exploring the incredible ruins of Allerheiligen. We also find some of the best campervan stopovers we’ve seen in all of Europe… or so we thought.
Things took an unexpected turn when the German police paid a visit to our stellplatz. Have overstayed our welcome? Between the cops, a few technical mishaps with melted fuses, and some very “festive” hangovers with our German neighbors, this has been an adventure we won’t forget.

Good video. I love the forest. In Alaska we have Devils Club that has stinging hairs… The plants can grow taller than humans. Was the fuse a higher amp than needed? That scenery feeds my soul.
