Worst trip I've ever been on. The high cost just rubbed salt into the wound.

Doing some research would have been helpful for you. If you don't have travel experience, it's important to do your homework.
Thoroughly enjoyed the video. Thank you. We’ve traveled in nearly 70 countries on six continents over the past 40+ years but have never been on a cruise of any kind. We’re slated for the Viking lower Danube from Bucharest to Budapest in a couple of months and have done our homework, but you hit some points that reinforced most of our thinking (especially the opting out of certain activities). Our mindset has always been to see as much as possible everywhere we’ve traveled, but we’re looking forward to someone else taking care of the transportation and moving the luggage. Driving around the world has gotten to be a bit of a challenge as we are on the edge of our 80s 😉

During ocean cruises in Europe the excursions can be very tiring, too. In Greece we had excursions 3 days in a row requiring us to meeting at 7:30am and 2 of them 9 hours long. They were wonderful but I was so tired I was falling asleep over my dinner plate!
