    1. All of these are beautiful places, but personally, Gujo appeals to me the most.
I'm surprised I haven't come across a video about Niigata and its koi-farming traditions outside of channels dedicated specifically to koi.

    2. Excellent content, thank you very much. I have been to most places mentionned and enjoyed them a lot, for similar and sometimes for other reasons 🙂. Especially tohoku in winter has a huge spot in my heart. We didnt make it to Ginzan Onsen because even though I started arranging more than a year before travelling, it was impossible to book a ryokan there. And also, seeing all the day visitors crowds in that tiny village (on different videos) totally put me off of it. We food other great spots, so that wasnt a problem.

As you used to live in Shiga-ken: next March, on our way back from Shikoku to Tokyo, we have 2 nights over the vernal equinox weekend, and I plan to spend them in Nagahama, in a hotel right on the lake. To enjoy lake biwa, maybe take a trip to an island in the lake and visit Hikone castle. Is that a good idea ? The vernal equinox weekend is so busy in other parts of Japan, will it be okayish there ?

    3. Kinosaki Onsen kind of looks great, and I love onsen, staying in ryokans and crab. But it also seems quite touristy ? I dont expect to be the only tourist there, and we usually visit Japan in March, when its mostly okay in terms of tourist numbers. What do you think ?

For reference: this March we stayed in Gero Onsen and Bessho Onsen, and loved both places.

    4. Great content as always and love your dry humour. Gujo i would say is definitely not underrated, in fact it gets exceptionally high scores, praise, reviews. Not saturated with tourism? Yes definitely. Most tourists i found were domestic or chugokujin. We almost bought a house there but ended up in takayama

    5. Amazing professional content as always. I really appreciate your dedication to your videos, can’t wait to visit some of these spots next time I’m in the country

    6. I just don't understand why this does not have more views. I absolutely love your tips and you are one of few Youtubers who actually show new places and not just the typical golden route. I highly appreciate it
