Muelle Uno is far more than a shopping destination. Just a short stroll from Alameda Principal—Málaga’s elegant, tree-lined central promenade that links the historic city centre with the waterfront—the vibrant harbourfront combines stylish boutiques, cafés, and restaurants with sweeping marina views. Orange trees, landscaped walkways, and luxury yachts create a relaxed Mediterranean setting, while the imposing Alcazaba overlooks the port, reflecting the city’s rich Moorish heritage.

Located within the Port of Málaga, Muelle Uno (“Quay One”) occupies a prime waterfront location. After 13 years of planning and an €80 million redevelopment, the former dock was transformed into a modern leisure and retail district. Officially opened in November 2011, the project created more than 400 jobs and has since become one of Málaga’s most popular visitor attractions.

The complex is home to more than 30 shops offering fashion, footwear, accessories, cosmetics, handmade jewellery, and home décor. Alongside well-known international brands, visitors will also find independent boutiques selling distinctive gifts, contemporary interior design, and elegant Spanish fashion. Practical services, including an optician and mobile phone stores, make it convenient for both locals and cruise passengers.

Muelle Uno also hosts regular markets and cultural events throughout the year. The popular monthly Zoco de Muelle Uno, held on the second Sunday of each month, features around 100 stalls selling handmade crafts, artisan jewellery, vintage and children’s clothing, home décor, organic produce, and locally made olive oils, cheeses, and cured meats, making it an ideal place to experience authentic Andalusian products in a picturesque waterfront setting.
