Pretty sure that’s where you hook the sex swing
Just connect the two once your tent is pitched. Helps hold up the top if you hang anything from the inside
I use it to hang a light
Half pitch it and see if the pole lines up with that loop when the fabric pulls taut. If it does, it’s meant to catch the pole, not hold anything.
