Valsaline Beach
Located in the town of Pula, Valsaline Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Croatia.
This beach is classified as pebble. It has natural shade.
This tiny beach consists of several coves with crystal-clear turquoise water and light-colored pebbles, so wearing protective footwear is highly recommended.
Ambrela Beach.
A small beach right next to the parking lot and bus stop. It has showers and restrooms. There’s a small restaurant right on the beach. The pebbles are large, making it difficult to find natural shade and there’s limited space.
We rated this beach as average.
Hawaii Beach.
Hawaii Beach is located in Principina Bay on the Verudela Peninsula in Pula. The central part of the beach is pebbly with rocky boulders. The sides are rocky and medium-height, suitable for diving. The entry is very gentle, suitable for families with children.
Hawaii Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Pula, especially among young people. It was probably named “Hawaii” because of the high waves in the bay during the Jugo period, reminiscent of Hawaii.
We liked this beach the most and spent most of our vacation there.
Verudela Canyon.
Verudela Canyon is a natural landmark located near a hotel park and the Sacred Rock (Sveta Stijena) on the Verudela Peninsula in Pula. The canyon features steep cliffs up to 17 meters high. It is very popular among young people, cliff jumpers, and adrenaline junkies. Sometimes, rope-slinging events are held in the canyon.
There is an interesting cave near the canyon. The canyon’s seabed is very popular with divers, and excursion boats stop nearby. Please exercise caution when visiting the canyon.
