I have an upcoming camping trip to Yosemite, we do this every year to participate in Facelift. Last year I did it pregnant, and this year since baby is still breastfeeding, I want to bring her along.
Have you camped, under bear considerations, with an infant? Looking for pro tips and advice, thanks! I have the option to get a spot at Curry Village, this would take me away from our group, but is the convenience worth it?

that handstand is wild, i’d be so nervous about slipping on that granite
we did yosemite with our 6 month old last year, the bear thing is mostly about keeping all scented stuff locked up which you already know. biggest surprise for us was how much the baby attracted curious deer, they’d just stand there staring like they’d never seen a tiny human before
curry village is honestly a solid move with a baby that age, the convenience of having actual walls and a real bed when you’re up 3 times a night is worth missing the group campfire. you can always walk over and hang with them during the day
facelift is such a good event, saw some volunteers hauling out a full mattress last time i was there
