went up around mount hood in the national forest area for 2 days with my wife last weekend. man it got way colder than we expected after sunset, like around 40s F / 7C. ended up finishing dinner super fast and crawling into our 3 person tunnel tent pretty early just to stay warm.

brought this little portable projector with us on a whim. we set up our folding table, lit a small lantern for vibes, and just chilled inside eating pineapple and some matcha cake we had in the cooler with iced lemon tea. ended up hanging a small foldable travel screen inside and watched movies until we both passed out. after hiking for miles during the day it was actually so nice to just lay in the sleeping bags and watch a movie.

honestly didnt think id like bringing tech into the woods this much but it kinda hit different. do you guys usually stay 100% zero screen when camping or bring a little setup like this sometimes?

I love our little Anker projector for this, but it’s usually reserved for glamping when we bring out the huge canvas bell tent and just project on the wall. I have nothing against tech in the woods as long as you’re spread far enough out to not be a nuisance to any neighbors.
