My wife and I got married at Chapel Rock, lovely hike and the reward at the end of the hike is so gorgeous

I recently mused that I’d like to visit the UP sometime, and someone tried to talk me out of it. When I see pics like this, I cannot fathom why someone would say not to bother.

I live in Colorado and Utah. Big hiker. This hike is in my top 3 of all time. Love it. Did you get in the water?
Wonderful hiking along the Pictures Rocks trail!! I have some of my favorite backpacking memories from here. I can still feel and hear the vibrations from Superior’s waves crashing into the cliffs… and it is so fun and pretty to do a boat tour after to see where you hiked!

The water is suuuper cold and the mosquitoes and black flies are terrible during the warm season! Do NOT recommend, don’t come here!
