A drive from Cork to Clonakilty and Rathbarry (Castlefreke) via Innishannon and Bandon, on a beautiful summer afternoon in August 2021, filmed with my GoPro 8 mounted on the dashboard of my Audi Q3. The journey starts heading Eastbound on the Cork South Link Road (N40), approaching the exit for the Bandon Road Roundabout. Exiting at the roundabout, the drive proceeds onto the N71 road in the direction of Skibbereen to Clonakilty and Rathbarry (part of the Michael Collins Trail), passing:

– Start of N71 at Bandon Road Roundabout/Bandon Road (02:22)
– The Viaduct (04:50)
– Halfway Roundabout (09:52)
– Innishannon (15:26)
– Innishannon Bridge over River Bandon (19:32)
– Bandon (23:29) – Note the drive continues on N71, going around the Town Centre
– Leaving Bandon/Clonakilty Road (28:11)
– Gaggin (32:27)
– Pedlar’s Cross (36:51)
– Ballinascarty (38:24)
– West Cork Business and Technology Park (41:24)
– Clonakilty (42:29) – Note the drive continues on N71, going around the Town Centre
– Leaving Clonakilty (47:36)
– Lisavaird (51:28)
– Turning off N71 to Rathbarry (52:24)
– Rathbarry and St. Michael’s Catholic Church (55:31)
– Rathbarry Village (56:30)

Since I can’t fly, or travel by train due to the pandemic, my only travel equipment I can use is my car in the local area, so something a little different than my usual videos!
