    Sailing: Mostly Bliss with Moments of Pure Terror | Episode 205



    Sailing is bliss combined with moments of pure terror and this sail up to the Marquesas was exactly that. One moment we are becalmed and greeted by a pod of dolphins and then the next we are blasted with 30 knots of wind blowing us completely in the wrong direction.

    Sometimes you never know what you are going to get our here in the Big Blue, but we will take it all, the ups and the downs.

      Ya know I started to get settled into the double whammy that is We Sail twice a week binge fests. Its a long time between drinks for addicts so a nice start to today to watch this for my commute to work. Your terror, our vicarious entertainment.

      You guys grow on me more with each passing week. I watch a lot of sailing/adventure vlogs and ya'll are slowly but surely becoming my favorite. I planned to travel after I retired, but God had another plan for me and now I deal with spinal stenosis which has me all but housebound. I live vicariously thru folks like you and I thank you so much for what you do for me. I wish I could contribute financially to you, but my situation does not allow.       I had that happen ON LAND yesterday. A run of thunder clouds to my west and north east in a line. Lots of crazy spinning wind around, wondering about mini tornadoes , looking closely at the clouds.Wouldn't it be cool to have a way to see, in a headset something like VR, see those dolphins underwater while you filming them ! ? !

      Don’t you think need to be tethered during storms going up front? Life jackets? Seems a little responsible to lose warren overboard only needs to happen once! 😊

      So I'm watching you sail through a squall while sailing my own catamaran solo down the Australian East Coast and hoping like hell that I don't get your type of squall– My problem is slowing the boat down, not speeding her up. The dolphins were incredible– they clearly were happy to be around you, they would have buggered off otherwise. Phil

      GROOVY, GROOVY, GROOVY BABY!!!! Love the new intro. Very professional, crisp and of course, beautiful. The filming of the dolphins above and below the water was trippy fantastic and ultra far out. I'd be jealous, except for the fact that I am watching your episode in my hot tube with a glass of white wine and a lovely red hair next to me. And when I really want to experience the wild seas you two are experiencing, I simply turn the bubbles up on my hot tube. LO:L! Stay safe and stay groovy.
