    Check out five not obvious cultural differences discovered by UK citizen – scientist Alex during his 8-day visit in Ukraine in 2023:

    Ukraine is a diverse country in Eastern Europe, mixing Eastern and Western European traditions and influences. During his visit, Alex from the UK found out the following:

    – Ukrainians wear slippers in the house, and UK people – don’t;
    – UK people plan carefully, and Ukrainians – are more spontaneous;
    – Ukraine people are more reckless and like to take risks;
    – Ukrainians like to make an effort by choosing outfits, UK people are more casual;
    – Ukrainians respect red light on the street, UK people are crossing everywhere they want;

      He's wrong about wearing shoes in the house in the UK. That's pretty rare here and most people would be disgusted if you tread on their carpets in shoes.

      Great video Jane. Interesting, and Alex is very nice. I think UK people are not really very different. We have very similar values and attitudes. Tea with milk is good, but so is good coffee. Easy for us to get on well 😀 Colours are very good on you! ❤️ from Uk.

      Interesting video Jane, although I don’t agree that people in UK wear shoes in the house- I don’t know anyone who wears shoes in the house, always slippers! The other points are probably right though!

      Good vid Jane . as always:) & Nice sights etc , on quiet street we may cross wherever but usually at the lights !, also of our shies are clean and it’s your own place , same as you guys
      Yes the clothes suite you fine ! Like the colours !
