“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”

Great interview Evan, thanks for sharing!
Real talk π
Iβve lived in 10 countryβs. Ph π΅π and THAILAND πΉπ are the age gap countries where an old cat in his 70βs with income if $1500 per month can pull a sweet, hot gf/wife in her 20βs. -30βs *Nothing wrong with that Grandaddy! ππ½πΊπ½Not impossible, but pretty tall order and not easy to do the same in Europe, SoAmerica and Mxβ¦Def not EVER going to happen in the West ! πΊπΈ Cheers from π¨π΄!ππ½πΊπ½
Maybe JJ should move elsewhere that has a better transportation system or maybe you should have asked why he picked the Philippines over the other Asian countries. Secondly scams happen everywhere not just in the Philippines. Why would anyone in their right mind send money to someone in a foreign country who they hardly know. Hellloooo. Practice common sense. Looks like JJ is looking for someone to wipe his rear for cheap in his golden years π, because that will never be happening in the US unless you have good health insurance. So no I would not be subscribing to his channel.
Please stop using the usual and sound effect before each still change. It is really unpleasant and unnecessary.
If an American lives in the Philippines for one year, how can he use an American credit card in the Philippines? In other words, how do we bring money from the United States to the Philippines. Many videos are introducing the cost of living in the Philippines, but I can't find a video on how we bring money to the Philippines. Please help, thanks.β€β€β€β€β€
Noooo, thereβs more homeless people in the US, thatβs the fact, though the country is poorer, come on now.
He got the right words that i was looking for. saying "BGC is such a bubble" As a Filipino, i couldnt agree more. Poverty in the Philippines hasnt changed because of corrupt politicians.
Sir jj is honest and right π.
You can find your match JJ there area many good Filipinas too . π Most Filipinas are receptive or they reciprocate if they are properly loved. There are also caring and loving Filipinas out there.

Visit Davao City or Mindanao much cheaper.
Itβs good for now if you are healthy but then if not, hospitalisation is very expensive in the philippine it will lead for bankruptcy specially major operation it cost you millions but you live overseas like Australia itβs all free.
Here in PHI you live comfortably in the city $ 2K – $ 3K per month Is just right if you're single no kids, and about $ 4K – $ 5K per month for married with 1 to 2 kids
Kensington is a Good place in America
This is real talk haha. Thank you JJ for being honest π
New subscriber here. Look forward to watching your videos
I hope heβs not a Trump supporter.
i had a relative.. who was also fooled by a short ti,e GF
she said she had cancer and needed 1000 dollars for treatment.. and he did send the money
and then later he found out.. she had no cancer..
this was years ago.
its a scam.. for years.. to those who earn monies… expecially from another country..
she thinks she can milk him for more.. but he found out in 3 months..
sad
but true
be careful

I'm considering spending a sabbatical year in BGC.
How far is the nearest major university?
Also, how expensive is it to secure a part-time driver and household help?
Fortunately, my sabbatical pay appears to be quite generous, given the cost of living in BCG.
I'd welcome a video devoted to this topic. I suspect that many US academics would be interested in spending their sabbatical in BCG.
Good for you and very smart guy but you are in the right country because Filipinos are very unique and always have heart to anybody especially in time of need
Your vlogs Evan are full of information and entertaining too. Keep it up and God bless..
Yeah right! Don't take anyones word, you need to explore for yourself. Cheaper $700 1bdrm vs $1450 for a 2bdrm, not much. Bottom line….Check things out for yourself!!
if you're white, you will have a high tendency to be successful in the philippines
Great interview Evan and Jeff!
To live in Philippines is way way way better compared to the US. If your source of income is from the US or a dollar earner.
now with star link you can travel anywhere and work online without interruption. i want to travel in the philippines
I'm lucky to discover your channel before it gets popular with over 100k subscribers. I've been living in Europe, but I'm a native Filipino who settled down for good in Quezon City, with a traditional house in the province just a few hours away from Baler (a surfing town) facing the Pacific Ocean. And thank you for featuring JJ, I just subscribed to his channel too!

As a pilipina every country or what country you came from.. we have samilarity
,We broke, we're unhappy, we're unlucky… But it's just simply just find a women that will stay your ups and downs and stay with you and strong relationship. Nice kinda hearted god-fearing… In short a good women… Lady's here in Philippines are same they're looking for a nice person to protect her and fight for her .. all the same… The only mistakes is were meeting a wrong person… I'm also hoping I could find a right person for me .
As a highly educated, well-traveled Filipina, with a masters degree and successful career, I find the part how you guys are describing women in PH so stereotypical. Also, I couldβt comment in your video about the Top 5 highest paying jobs in the PH so Iβm gonna put it here: where did you get the data because itβs waaaay off. There are surgeons here that easily earn millions of pesos a month. And there are other jobs here that can get you in the P400k – P2M range per month salary such as business executives in top companies in media, advertising, tech, telco, fast consumer products etc. That doesnβt even include other opportunities in showbiz, sales, hotels etc and P280k-P150k month for highest paying jobs is waaaay off.
So true the woman in the province is very shy even Iβm here in USA
