    1. Can't wait to get back!! Moving home after 32 years in Germany, in 6 weeks there will be no more "we'll do it at the weekend " we can go when we want!!
Just wanted to say that when we've been driving around Scotland I've always got my flyfishing gear in the camper so we go to places (normal) tourists don't generally go, you might want to check out the area around Scourie, there are some amazing sights among the hill lochs and lochans along the single track roads. Thanks for giving me something to watch at 6am Chris!!!
      All the best!!!!

    2. Great video mate. I think Glencoe and Skye might be a future trip for me then as I’ve not been by the former and only crossed the bridge for the latter.

From a personal point of view I’d recommend Shetland after being up there last month which is the best time to do it because of Simmer Dim.

I’m pleased you included Glasgow on there though as from a driving perspective it shows how Scotlands road network can go from one extreme to the other in the space of a few miles.

    3. Thanks for another great video Chris, in your experience what time of year is best to do a road trip like this? Want to miss midge season if I can and have never been to Scotland.

    4. Totally agree with everything you recommended. We did that trip 3 years ago. Outstanding. Looking forward to doing it again soon. As a north east girl I love your vlogs. Familiarity is so important. Like minded people if you know what I mean. 👍👏👏 keep up the good work. X

    5. For those of us without moveable accommodation – who would like to do the road trip it would be great to know about b&b’s, eateries and pubs en route.😊

    6. I bought the ultimate Scottish road trip guide and if you’ve not been before it’s well worth it! Takes you through all my favourite places and if your not familiar with the areas or short on time is a must have guide. Video is spot on as always 👌 just got back from Mallaig, that drive though glencoe never gets old.

    7. Why should we pay you £10 your spouting on about people leaving rubbish. No evidence of it people have been travelling this route for years so stop spouting twodle you think your a pioneer please go back to the north east of England and shut up. Still can’t work out why we should we pay you £10 you have been in your camper for a few months and You know every thing shut up and go home I first traveled this route in 1981 and did lots of other people
