#19 "other religions practiced in the country include christianity and atheism" LOL. Atheism is not a religion, never was and never will be. How can a lack of belief in a god/gods be a religion? I'm not an atheist, I just know and understand the word. it's not even a belief system.
I could only get a visa at their consulate in Bishkek because I spoke some Russian. I took a bus from Bishkek to Almaty (formerly Alma Ata – apple tree in Turkish). I enjoyed walking around the city. Two more buses got me to a border (to China) town where a restaurant had a sign outside with the menu in 3 languages – none of them in Latin letters – Cyrillic, Chinese and Arabic (Uigur). I really felt far from home.
There are a lot of Turkish based words in the 5 Central Asian languages. At a market in Osh, I had to use the Turkish numbers as the vendor didn't understand Russian.
7:17 Atheism is not a religion. It means not theism.
