We did it! After 3 months & 5300 km cycled we have made it from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean and thereby officially crossed Australia.

But our time in Down Under doesn’t end here… find out what we still have planned in this video!

    1. I'm very excited to see more of your WA adventure. And even more of the real (west coast outback) Australia. I am a big fan of your videos and have watched them all from the beginning. I have been following your trip for over two years and am always amazed by the beautiful pictures and your great comments. Thank you very much and keep on having a nice trip.

    2. Great little video ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Australia ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ should use some of your footage for advertising ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ Well done guys ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ enjoy the rest of your stay. Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

    3. Living the life! BTW: If you want a cinematic taste of the outback, I can recommend the Aussie film, "Burke & Wills (1985)" on YT. These two 19th century explorers are famous in Australia and were the first to cross the country north/south. They sadly met a tragic end, but it is a great film.

    4. I have been worried. Yep. Not gonna lie. Just plain worried. Always on the "edge of my seat" ~ with my morning coffee but for you guys I just didn't know. So now I do. Oh my goodness. Now I don't need to worry. Whew! Oh yea. I'm cutting firewood to supplement my heat ~ a new hydronic oil boiler ~ and you guys are heading into springtime in Australia. Just Brilliant! Such excellent drone work, such excellent and informative narration, such excellent editing and in our country there is a term Louisa, that means "tough" or "rugged" or "can take on anything." ("Bad Ass") Not gonna lie. (Louisa this is a very positive and endearing term for women). I am so impressed with the rugged approach to travel that you both take. Thank you so much for sharing all of this. โœจ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒธโœจ. from New Hampshire. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

    5. A simple thumb up is not enough! You are amazing!
As to remoteness, I guess every corner of the planet is invaded by people lately. We have been north of the artic circle in those we believed to be non tourist areas, and found campers parked everywhere! It was disappointing actually.
Highways across Europe are basically processions of campers and trucks. Impossible to just leave and stop for the night somewhere. One has to book in advance and shape the route based on hotel availability. Its contrary to the spirit of free wandering to which I am addictedโ€ฆ

    6. I am Australian and have don'e a number of tours here and overseas. I don't think people not from australia realise how vast this country is so they probably wouldn't fully appreciate what an accomplishment it is to have ridden from one end of the country to other. But for me, it is an amazing feat.

    7. Lol getting over the tree by just lifting the loaded bike over! I was cycling alone, so the best options were unload and sling everything over 1 by 1, or go around in the woods.

    8. What a cool update. Glad youโ€™re enjoying WA and the Munda Biddi, plus I hope the pea gravel is kind to you and itโ€™s definitely a better time to ride it given the recent rain, so thatโ€™s good!

    9. Hi Guys, I spent 13 months riding around the wold a few years ago and am thinking about doing Australia. How did you deal with the road trains? Were they a big problem? Thanks!

    10. That was a pleasant but all too short update.
I have never heard of the Munda Biddi Trail, so I will be looking forward to your next update.
      Well done as always.
PS: Have you missed your guitar at all ?

    11. I am very exited to watch your coming videos. I watched all your videos and keep following your expedition around the world since 1st video. The most videos I like is your adventure to Patagonia. If happen you in Malaysia please update me, maybe I can meet both of you. If I am not away to europe as a tour guide. Have a nice adventure in Australia. Stay save

    12. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us. Australia looks great to cycle, it's now also on my list! I always smile watching your videos, because you both are always happy and smiling during the comment! I'm looking forward to your next video ๐Ÿ˜Š

    13. hi guys! I love watching your vids I did so far 2 bike tours in Germany and Nederland. Pretty great experience but definitely not comparable with what you do. I would like to ask you how you deal with stray dogs and which are the countries where you had more often..dog attacks๐Ÿ˜Š. . Thanks in advance for your answers!

    14. So glad you liked it and has even become one of your favourites. I guess I wouldnโ€™t like the endless straight desert roads, but the trail looks awesome indeed!
