The "Orange Alternative" was a punk rock protest movement during the 80s. They were peaceful protesters who were using irony, jokes and laughter to fight communists – the worse enemy of totalitarianism – laughter. They were often wearing dwarf costumes, you can just imagine how it was working for the regime, when they were sending militia (police at the time) to arrest the dwarves with spikey hats 😉
