Some hidden gems of Crete, that many people don’t know about, in the largest island of Greece. Home to one of the oldest civilizations, surrounded by over 1000km of coastline (1,046 km), mountains with more than 30 summits over 2000m, that form more than 400 canyons.

    1. All beauty in Crete but,,,,,,,,BEWARE TOURISTS OF SOUDA!!!! IN SOUDA THE WORST PEOPLE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IN THE MOST EVIL WAY!!!! LOCALS SAY YOUR DEATH IS MY LIFE!!!

    2. The videos.are great! I will visit Crete for the first time this september. I hope to see as much places as possible in 2 weeks of my stay. A bit worried about moving around, as I am not a driver. If you could help me with public transportation routes, that would be very helpful. Thank you !

    3. Thank you again, went to the kourtalioris canyon, gorge was amazing, possibly the highlight of my trip, going down the lesser built steps, climbing round and then swimming in the very cold water with the waterfalls was spectacular.

    4. Great vid. I love Sfakia. Just one but: these are all villages with only summer residents for the tourism season. I would like to stay in a genuine cretan community, that stays there for the year. Do you have any recommendations of this kind?

    5. Hi, I lived in the white Mountains for six years and you're just shown me all the great places I missed. Damn. Great video, great places, great people, great cuisine. Thanks

    6. Thank you for this amazing video. We were there last Sepember. In Chania and the south in Frangocastelo. We found many gems of beaches. One beach I enjoed that made an impression was in Paleochora and another was Ilingas beach a few minutes froim Sfakia. Not many people and they were perfect in every way! I can't wait to go back and visit some of the places mentioned here. 3 weeks in Crete was not enough.

    7. Incredible tips, I've visited Crete twice but mostly the west (Chania/Rethymono regions). For the next trip in late June next year, I'm planning to wisit the eastern half of the island for about a week. I heard Koufonisi and Chrissi islands and Zakros gorge are some gems of that area. Any other hidden secrets I should know of? Efharisto poli!
