🍎 “A” is for autumn, Aomori, Akita, and apples in Japan!

Autumn is the best time to visit Japan, but not just for autumn leaves! In today’s Japan travel vlog, we’re taking a one day trip to Aomori, the apple prefecture, where autumn means peak apple picking season!

When you mention Aomori to anyone in Japan, their first thought will likely be about apples as this is where famous varieties like the Fuji apple and Crispin apple were first produced, making apple picking the best autumn activity to try in Aomori! You can experience apple picking at Hirosaki Apple Park between August and November, but you can enjoy their apple goods like apple curry, cider, pies, and snacks year-round too!

Watch to see more of Japan’s top apple producing city, Hirosaki, the autumnal countryside of the Tohoku region, and find out where to try the most aesthetic apple pie in Japan!

    1. When you mentioned "twisting the fruit" to get sun, are they moving branches, or actually twisting apples on their stems? It seems odd they wouldn't just spring back immediately. Maybe while the apples are developing? That part is going to keep me awake and pondering for hours. Apple pie has always been my favorite! Pecan is okay, but I'll prefer apple every time. 🍎

    8. Hello, (^ 0 ^)/ Fruit picking is fun, isn't it?
I was quite confused about which one to choose, but I understand that feeling. The apples 🍎 🍏 on the tree are well exposed to the sunlight and the branches are broken, so there is plenty of honey. Really, it was a juice as if I was drinking juice. In Japan, apples🍎 are grown in various prefectures, and there are many kinds. The Tohoku region is famous, but surprisingly, there are places where you can pick apples🍎 in Okayama and Hiroshima. There is also a whole apple pie with only the core of apple 🍎. I recommend it. ( ๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)b ♪♪

InAomori, we went to Oirase stream, Towada Lake, Hakkoda mountain. Hotokegaura in Shimokita was just amazing, it was like you come to another planet. We went to Hirosaki autumn foliage festival. We ate a lot of apple pies in the various places. We love Aomori so much!!
