    1. Great video with some great info (especially for someone like me who plans to visit). Thank You. Ill probably try to lose weight before i go since the food there looks good ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ‘

    2. Hi Alex! Are there designated spots for smoking or anyone can just pretty much smoke anywhere in public? I also have a sensitive nose and I unfortunately suffer from allergic rhinitis so I highly dislike the smell of cigarettes and second-hand smoke ๐Ÿซ

    3. I was in Istanbul in October. In my head, I knew that it was a first world country, but it didn't get into my heart until I walked around Maltepe. I got off the subway and walked up into Minneapolis, except people were dressed better and drove more expensive cars.

    4. I lived in Turkey for one year: Istanbul is not Turkey and Turkey is NOT Istanbul!
That being said here are some point to add: Turks are VERY nationalist! They are obsessed with cleanliness especially in restaurants which matches my desire. I too was shocked and disturbed by the percentage of Turks who SMOKEโ€ฆI hated that cause of my keen sense of smell. And itโ€™s true Turks love cats and dogs and they ALL help take care of them. In Turkey there are no stray pets, but there are communal pets๐Ÿ˜Š

    5. This is my favourite city. Taxi drivers are mostly immigrants. I was in Istanbul, and my impression was they didn't like to be bunched with the Arabs. I suppose Turks ruled the Arab peninsula for a few hundred years. Nice people overall.

    6. People seem really free in Istanbul Alex nice to know that. I'm not a smoker and can't really stand the smell of smoke so I tend to avoid areas where people smoke a lot. I had no idea Turkey had some of the least speaking or English speaking people but you seem to have no problem getting around. Speaking of animals Alex it's good to know people really care about them there. One of my little dogs Angel who was given to me by one of my cousins 4 years ago is missing for about 3 days now I don't know what happened to her she was a guard dog at my parents house 20 minutes away and she hasn't comeback I'm still heartbroken but as you know here in the Philippines many dogs just wonder and go there own way sometimes but I still have dogs here with me but It's hard because pets are like our children but I'm just going to have to accept whatever happens. There's thousands of acres of land and tress where I live in the Philippines so It's hard to find a dog you may have lost. Take care Alex I hope you get to travel more around Turkey ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ†’๐Ÿ†’

    7. I hope that you are in good health, and enjoying your life.
